House Boats

Kerala Houseboats (Riceboats) or kettuvallam are country boats that were used in the early days for the transport of goods from the isolated interior villages of Kerala Backwater area to the towns like Alleppey, Kollam, Cochin and Kottayam. With the advent of roads, bridges and ferry services, gradually the kettuvalloms went off the scene. We have a classy kitchen that is properly protected from hazards by fire proofing and fire extinguishers. The services of professional cooks are available in the kitchen. High quality crockery, cutlery and glassware are used on the boat.

Cuisine

The chef onboard is there to relish the appetite of the tourist with traditional Kerala Cuisine consisting of mouth watering delicacies like duck roast, karimeen fry, prawn curry and other special items
